Meet Your Writing Coach & Cheerleader

Hi, I'm Heather!

I'm the founder of Unbound, and I'm a lot of other things too. I'm a published writer, avid reader, and experienced classroom teacher. I love teaching teenagers language and literature, and every year my former students (and their parents) return to tell me how much I've helped them grow as writers.

My expertise stems from a lifelong passion for writing, as well as the nine years of classroom teaching I have under my belt with my Middle and High School students. I also have experience leading writing classes for children and adults, and at Unbound, tutoring sessions are available for all levels of writers.

This was a very well spent hour where I acquired skills and techniques crucial to the college application process, and to tailoring my writing supplements in a way that accurately reflected who I am and who I want to become.

This better prepared me to revise and improve my essays. I am super excited for the next meeting.

Thank you!
